Winning at Texas Holdem can be rewarding financially as well as give a player a feeling of satisfaction for a job well done. At Absolute Poker, losing can do the same thing. $1,297,394.94 is the total so far announced by AP that it has paid out in their new Bad Beat Jackpots since June 22nd.

David Clainer, the senior Vive President at AP say's "In less than seven weeks, our players have won an unfathomable amount of cash at our Bad Beat Jackpot tables. The numbers we released today amount to an average of $185,000 being paid out every week for losing hands."

The latest winner, Aug 7th, had four nines and lost to a straight flush. He may have felt bad but instantly one $50,000 for the loss.

Not only does the person who gets beat win, the player who beat him wins and so does everyone at the table. No matter if you give, receive or witness the bad beat, you can take home the cash.
