Absolute Poker's Bad Beat Jackpot has now shattered its all-time high. By 9am ET on Monday, the jackpot had reached $667,000. With $0.50 collected from each qualifying hand that number is growing by an average of $2,000 per hour at the designated bad beat tables. The old record was $464,652.03.

This has made for some very high traffic at Absolute Poker and with they bad beat tables starting as low as $.25/$.50, there is plenty of opportunity for any online poker player no matter what their budget might be.

Anyone who loses with quad eights or better using both cards in his hand at a designated bad beat jackpot table will receive the biggest percentage of the prize. The winner of the hand will receive the next-biggest prize.

Not only do the two players involved in the bad beat, but anyone participating in the table before the bad beat occurred will also get a percentage of the jackpot.
