Canadian Poker Tour Sanctions Tournaments in Manitoba
HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc. owns the Canadian Poker Tour and they recently announced they will be holding poker tournaments in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Canadian Poker tour has been register and sanctioned to host a series of poker tournaments at the Club Regent Casino which is in Manitoba.
The Canadian Poker Tour has also starting new tournaments for the CPT Player of the Year standings. Players can now compete on Tuesday nights in $50 re-buy tournaments and $200 events will be held on Saturdays to qualify players for the Player of the Year.
All players who finish in the money at CPT events will earn points under the Players Points System though they do have to have a CPT Membership for points to count. Memberships can be purchased at the casino or online for $95. The membership includes an annual subscription to Canadian poker Player magazine, a starter pack of CPT merchandise and discounts on airfares for major CPT events.
