Epassporte No Longer Accepting US Players?

Apr 11, 2008
Author: Rebecca Rosales

There is recent news that Epassporte may no longer be accepting US poker player deposits.  At this time they haven't issued a statement saying that they will no longer service poker players in the US.

All of the poker sites that use Epassporte have pulled the poker deposit option from the cashier on Friday afternoon after deposits stopped working.  There are still other methods to make deposits into your account, at PokerStars US players can still use echecks as an instant deposit option.

The situation is still not clear as poker sites have also not received a statement as to why the deposits are no longer working.  They are telling their customers that Epassporte is currently not a deposit for US players but are very vague as to the reason why.

Epassporte support has been quoted as saying that is a technical error and that there have no changes in policy.  The poker sites however were not informed of this and it is now commonly known that the customer support at ewallet companies are usually the last to know of major changes.
