Epassporte Officailly Done With Poker

Last week US players that were using Epassporte to make deposits were told there were technical difficulties but Epassporte has now officially stopped servicing poker transactions as of 1:00pm PDT on Friday.

At first there were just rumors and speculation that some hoped would turn out not to be true as representatives from Epassporte were telling customers that they were just suffering from "technical difficulties" and that there were no plans to stop processing online gaming transactions.

Customer service representatives from major online poker rooms were saying the same thing, that the problem was just "technical difficulties".  They aren't too blame for the wrong information as they got the info directly from Epassporte.

Epassporte transactions were blocked temporarily at a number of major poker sites, including PokerStars and some poker rooms took off the Epassporte option from their cashier screens altogether.
