Fake Facebook Account found for UK Poker Player
Facebook is a very popular online social networking site and it seems everyone has an account. From celebrities, musicians, sports figures and poker players, anyone can be found at Facebook. Recently reports have surfaced that UK Poker legend Willie Tann had an account created by an imposter who was trying to scam poker players out of money.
The imposter was asking for small amounts of money from $30 to $200 to be transferred into their Full Tilt or PokerStars accounts as a loan or a site money swap. Thank goodness people from the Hendon Mob and Blonde found out that the account is not real and they are making it public.
The account is 100% not Willie Tann. It seems the account has now been deleted by Facebook but players should still be mindful that this could still happen in other aspects of Facebook. Players should never accept any Facebook request for money and a denial can be made simply by clicking the deny friends link.
