First Week of Poker Radio Show Sees Controversy
The Jesse May Poker Show aired this week for the first time on the radio and it already has started a controversy. The first three episodes this week saw major controversy after a few callers phoned in to the radio show and made a few off color comments.
May, Matt Broughton and Padraig Parkinson were talking back and forth during the show laughing and cutting up on the airwaves when Rory Liffey called in and sounded inebriated. The call was cut off after just one minute when he started using expletives during his interview.
Liffey then called back, said smart aleck remarks to the hosts and then hung up on them. Later in the show, Parkinson’s online gaming skills were questioned which may result in a bet between James Dempsey and Parkinson.
Parkinson commented on the show stating: "After a few technical hitches we really got into our stride quickly and I remembered just how much fun this could be. I have a feeling this is either all going to end in tears or we will have created a monster. Either way, I'm going to love it." Parkinson used to co-host the original version of the Poker Show in Las Vegas many years ago.
