Fourth Annual Scotty Nguyen Poker Challange Is Set

Tulsa, Oklahoma's Cherokee Casino Resort will be the host of this year's Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge. The tournament will feature a series of thirty-one events that will take place over twenty days. The dates for the tournament are November 1st through the 20th and will finish in a three-day Main Event on the 18th through the 20th. The prize pool has been estimated to be over $2 million and the Main Event offers a $5,150 buy-in. Last year the event only had a prize pool of $1.7 million and 5,000 players.

Kido Pham, last year's winner is sure to back to defend his title along with several big names in poker. Of course Scotty will be there but also TJ cloutier, Mike Matusow, Todd Brunsen, Kathy Liebert, and many more will be there as well.

The Main Event is not the only series a player can buy-in. On the 14th there will be $1,070 buy-in and on the 16th there will be a $2,080 buy-in. There will also be buy-ins at $120 and there will be single-table and mega-satellite available with the opportunity to buy in at $45. The games available will be full-table NLHE, short-handed NLHE, limit and pot-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, limit Omaha hi/lo, 7-card stud and H.O.R.S.E. There will also be a 'Jack and Jill' event, senior events and a ladies event.
