Fresh Managers for the WPTE Team

In an attempt to boost their online poker presence and to broaden their presence in the online market, two new managers were hired onto the World Poker Tour Enterprises team. They are also hoping that by making this move, their current managers will gain positive perspectives in regards to the industry around them.

 

Rohin Malhotra comes to the team with experience as managing director of sales and marketing on an international level. She received a lot of her marketing skills at PartyGaming.

 

Andy Goetsch was brought in from his position as vice president of poker software development at CryptoLogic. He is now the executive vice president of online gaming for the WPTE family.

 

"What Andy brings to the table is a different point of view," stated Hughes. "He talks about the heart of the poker player, the heart of the online player. He tries to create programs which are not only about acquiring players, but retaining players."

His charge is to strategically distribute and utilize WPT content in traditional and non-traditional media platforms while building the brand and translating the exposure into traffic and players for WPT's online gaming site
