According to reports and statements from the CEO of Harrah's Entertainment Inc. Gary Loveman there are plans of placing the World Series of Poker on an Internet casino where online poker players will have access to Harrah's.

In statements from Loveman at the Global Gaming Expo that was held in Las Vegas his company has discussed the idea of putting a World Series of Poker on the Internet, however they have not decided on what country they will locate.

Harrah's Entertainment Inc. is not seeking to go online in the United States as online gambling is banned by the UIGEA, so they will look in one of the other thriving markets in other countries.

Loveman says if you look to Europe and in the United Kingdom they have not only made it legal there is no hindrance in operating an online casino, making areas such as this very attractive to Harrah's Entertainment Inc.

The spokesman of the tournament Gary Thompson added his comments by stating this online casino would be in a place where there are no gray areas, however the market and the legal position would need to be investigated before such a move.
