International Poker School Coming This September
The United States is known for offering poker academies especially those run by the World Series of Poker. Internationally, poker schools are not as common if they happen at all, until now. The first International Poker School will take place this September in Hertfordshire for players to attend and learn more about the game.
rn
Paul Zimbler is responsible for creating the International Poker School and those attending will be able to learn from some of the top poker players in the UK. The event will take place on September 12th at the Village Hotel in Hertfordshire.
rn
Poker lectures will take place as well as regular tournaments that offer major land based tournament seats. Speakers confirmed for the first poker school are: Liv Boeree, Marc Goodwin, Julian Thew and Paul Jackson. Future events will see Praz Bansi, John Tabatabai, Michael Greco and Neil Channing speaking.
rn
Each event will include a question and answer period, single table tournaments with the pros, so players can learn during game play. A shootout tournament will take place at the end of the day and will offers seats to a WSOPE side event. The cost of the first International Poker School is £325 and the event is capped fifty players.
rn
But if you are unable to attend the first poker school there will be many more taking place at various spots over the UK that can be attended. Other events will be announced at a later date.
