Mountain View Casino to Offer WSOP Satellites

With the World Series of Poker rapidly approaching, more and more online casinos will be offering satellites for players to gain a seat to an event of the series. However land casinos will be offering seats as well. The latest casino to confirm satellites is Mountain View Casino in Nevada.

The casino has come to an agreement with the WSOP and they have now become a licensed satellite location. The casino will host five tournaments starting in May. Each winner of the satellites will earn a seat to the WSOP which will begin on May 27th.

The Mountain View casino has been remodeling and this week will unveil their new look. The casino floor has added PokerPro tables, video poker bar, hi-def televisions and much more. The owner of Mountain View, Shelley McCaw commented: “Poker has become as much as sitting at home, playing a good game of poker but with the opportunity to meet a new group of friends. We hope everyone embraces this total new concept of poker fun.”
