New Poker Room Coming to Sheffield
Napoleons Casino in Sheffield will be getting a new poker room this January. The new poker room will have seventy seats and will be created now that the casino has been granted planning permission begin the refurbishment.
The Four Seasons restaurant will be moved to the ground floor of the property according to the Sheffield Telegraph. The new poker room will host regular tournaments as well as use the space to host private functions. The new poker area will be on the lower level as well.
Group director of casino owners A&S Leisure, Mark Allen, commented: “The new-look casino will greatly enhance the increasing offer of entertainment venues in and around the emerging Greystones quarter of Sheffield.”
The upgrades to the casino, including the new poker room, are expected to be complete by May 2010. Visitors to the casino currently will find several types of casino games including roulette, blackjack, three card poker and slot machines.
