New Way to Reach Asian Pacific Poker Tour

There is a different way for poker players to reach their seats at the Asian Pacific Poker Tour and while it is not a new way it has not been used since PartyPoker introduced them to online poker players.

They are called step tournaments, of which there are several levels to the tournament where poker players can begin with a small amount of money so there is little risk involved.

PokerStars has brought these step tournaments back and have a step satellite system, where poker players will have several shots at a seat for the Asian Pacific Poker Tour.

These poker tournaments begin with step one and go thru step six, once a poker player has reached step six they will have a choice if sitting in the last seat at the table whether they want a seat at the $9,000 Sydney Asian Pacific Poker Tour or at the event scheduled at Macau with a $4,500 prize package.

Poker Players can also buy-in at any step of the game and the buy-ins are:

*FFP: Frequent Player Points

Step 1: buy-in $7.50 or 500 FFP

Step 2: $27. or 1,750 FFP

Step 3: $ 84 or 5,125 FFP

Step 4 $215 or 13,500 FFP

Step 5: $700

Step 6: $2,000
