Virgin Games Closes Sportsbetting Site For Refurbishing
Online gaming company, Virgin Games, has made the decision to close down it's Sportsbetting operation, 'Virgin Bets', in an effort to refurbish the software. Virgin claims this move will eventually provide a "new and improved product" to its customers.
Posted on the Virgin Bets web site, members found the statement, "We sadly regret that Virgin Bets is no longer available."
The statement went on to say, "We would like to thank all those who have supported us in the past. Virgin Games have decided to shut down our sport betting website in the short-term. We are working on a new and improved betting product and we will let you all know as soon as it is ready to take bets."
Members have been asked to contact Virgin Games with any questions they may have regarding their account information and the current unavailability of the web site. They were also advised that while Virgin Bets is closed, they may still take part in Virgin Games' other online gaming venues - Virgin Poker, Virgin Casino and Virgin Bingo.
"Virgin Bets aims to offer a straightforward betting service for people looking for a bit of entertainment," the statement continued, "whether they want a casual punt on the UEFA Champions League or a fun flutter on the winner of this year’s Big Brother."
