The very well known 2007 World Series of Poker Champion, Jerry Yang has failed to appear for his greatly anticipated game in the APPT Macau. This well known world poker champion was turned down by officials for his flight to Hong Kong because of having some visa issues, as stated in Wicked Chops Poker, poker blog.

Still currently holding a refugee status, Yang is considered a permanent resident to the United States. Without having the required visa to be able to enter Hong Kong, Yang was disappointedly turned away at the gates, which forced him to remain in the United States.

After what seems to have been a disappearing act from Yang, after winning the WSOP, he had planned on returning to the felt for the Asian Pacific Poker Tour in Macau. At least for now, it seems that gamers who are anticipating an appearance from champion Yang, will have to be put on hold.

The action of the tournament however has continued even without Yang's appearance. Being already underway, is the $2,500 main event.

Many gamers in the poker community will just have to put on hold the return of the 2007 World Series of Poker main event Champion, Jerry Yang.
