WSOP Academy to Visit Atlantic City
The World Series of Poker Academy will be holding an instructional poker camp and workshop in Atlantic City toward the end of November. The academy will take place at the Showboat Casino on the 22nd and 23rd and feature several poker professionals.
Attendees will be able to attend seminars, see live hand demonstrations and engage in interactive workshops that will be based on No Limit Texas Hold’em strategy. Playing position to pot odds and many other areas will be covered.
Greg Raymer, Alex Outhred, Hevad Khan and Joe Navarro will be featured speakers at this academy. The tuition is $1,499 but $375 can be paid to hold a spot. The smaller amount paid upfront is called the “Play Now, Pay Later” option.
The plan allows players to pay 25% of the tuition up front and the remainder can be paid over the next three months in three equal monthly payments. Jeff Goldenberg of Post Oak Productions, who produces the Academies, stated: "We're making it easier than ever for poker players to invest in their poker game and become winning players with our Play Now, Pay Later program. Our WSOP Academy events this November will feature some of the biggest names in poker sharing their secrets and strategies. I'm confident our Academy grads will walk away with the confidence and skills they need to be a threat at the table."
Attendees will also be able to participate in a private tournament where the winner will receive a $5,000 World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event seat to the event of the player’s choice.
