WSOP Proposition Bets Launched at BodogLife Website
The World Series of Poker is a BIG deal in the poker industry and among poker players and fans. BodogLife has made this obsession more interesting by introducing special proposition bets at their poker website for people to take advantage of for the 2009 WSOP which begins on July 3rd.
BodogLife has created twenty separate bets that revolve around the WSOP. The most popular choice will most likely be which former Main Event winner will last the longest in their year’s competition. The odds for that bet are Chris Ferguson, Phil Hellmuth and Peter Eastgate at 9/2 odds and they are followed by Doyle Brunson with 11/2 odds. Other past winners are favored with must lower odds.
There is also a proposition that will ask which female player will last the longest in the competition. Kathy Liebert and Jennifer Harmon have the best odds at 5/1 while Annie Duke and Cindy Violette, Isabella Mercier, Clonie Gowen, Evelyn Ng, Liz Lieu, Mimi Tran, Katja Thater and Vanessa Rousso all sit at 7-1 odds.
One of the more creative bets offered by Bodog Life is with Scotty Nguyen. Scotty has stated that if he does not earn a combined total of at least four million dollar at this year’s WSOP then he will be retiring. BodogLife has taken advantage of Scotty’s statement and created a proposition on whether Scotty will be able to achieve his goal. The odds are 24/1 that he will be successful.
