World Record Set by PokerStars

Top online poker room, PokerStars, has entered the world record books once again. PokerStars recently broke one of their own records during a tournament the poker room hosted just a few days ago. The record was set during the World Championship of Online Poker.

PokerStars broke their own record for having the most players competing in a tournament, cash and free poker games on the same day. The record was set on September 6th during the WCOOP and 307,016 players were competing at 42,814 tables.

The record was verified by the Guinness Book of World Records and amazing enough PokerStars overwhelmingly broke the previous record. PokerStars had over 100,000 more people this time around than they did for the previous record.

This is an amazing feat and just goes to further prove why PokerStars remains the number one poker room operating online today. PokerStars is constantly breaking records, hosting new and exciting tournaments and rewarding their customers with large prizes and events, whether they be online or on land.
