888.com sees 37% Growth in Third Quarter

888.com has continued to see growth this year despite their loss of the United States market. They have showed a 37% increase in their revenue for the third quarter report this year. The gaming sites revenues were $3.83 million in 2006 and now have risen to $52.5 million. The company received great trading revenue with the birth of 888.it, the Italian sportsbook and they also signed a television ad campaign to boost revenue. Also during this past month the site has seen an 11% increase in daily poker and casino revenues.

The sites casino and poker revenue went up 24% from last year the most amazing rise was in bingo and backgammon revenue. Those two went from zero to $4.9 million in one year. Net Gaming Revenue in Q3 climbed 5 percent higher than Q2 with September being our best month since we withdrew from the US," Levy said "This record month has been exceeded in October with growing momentum following the launch of our TV advertising campaign.

The customer activity has also risen this past year. It has rose up 17% from last year and as of the end of September the site had 4.4 million real money casino and poker players registered. The net revenue was up 28% for the nine months of this year putting 888.com at $149.3 million compared to $116.5 million last year.
