The decision has been made by the European Union and other trading partners that the United States will have more time to negotiate a deal that will provide all the parties concerned to reach an agreement that will be fair to all parties involved.

The new date is December 14th according to Gretchen Hamel who is the spokesman for the US trade Representative Office, the original date for the US and these other countries was Monday. She went on to say that some of the negotiations have been quite advanced, and each is proceeding at their own pace.

The United States has argued in this battle with the World Trade Organization that they did not intend to include online gambling as part of the trade with these countries.

In part of these talks the United States decided that they would exercise a seldom used right under the World Trade organization rules, which in effect show that their commitments did not extend to online gambling.

With out success in these negotiations the United States is looking at billions to pay for the countries that have brought the United States in front of the World Trade Organization.
