Antigua Speaks Out
He is defending Antigua and Barbuda, in the talk that they are targeting the United States trademarks with fines until the United States places their bans equally or changes the UIGEA allowing American online gamblers to use International gambling operators.
He is also defending the nation's right to the $3.4 billion in trade sanctions that were part of a court case earlier this year in front of the World Trade Organization over the unlawful passing of the United States UIGEA that was passed last year. With the passing of this bill that halted bank transactions for Americans gambling online put a crushing blow to Antigua's online gambling profits as it did with many other online gambling operators who have since published their profit and loss statements for the year.
After the World Trade Organization ruling and Washington D.C. made its intention clear that it wanted to remove online gambling from the treaty agreement with the members of the World Trade Organization. Antigua prompted other members to join them in their court case, and thus far many have filed against the United States, one of these being the European Union. Others are Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, India, Japan and Macau to file separate claims.
