Lee Rousso will finally get his day in court, he has filed a lawsuit against the State of Washington in the US in regards to their online gambling ban. In a statement that was recently released on the Poker Players Alliance Web site, Russo said that his hearing is scheduled for April 25th at 11am PST.

He is planning on filing his brief before the hearing on or before March 25th and will post a copy on the PPA site as well.  Russo said in his post,  "I hope Washington State poker players will come to the hearing and show their support".

Lee Rousso is a lawyer and the state representative for the PPA in Washington and is going to challenge the constitutionality of Washington's online gambling ban.  He originally filed his lawsuit on the first day of the 2007 World Series of Poker.

He alleges that the state's online gambling ban fails to comply with the Wire Act that was passed by the federal government.  The Wire Act has never extended criminal liability to players, where Washington's law makes it a felony to gamble online.
