Joe Navarro To Speak at World Series of Poker Academy

Caesars Palace in Las Vegas will play host to the World Series of Poker Academy on November 7th and 8th before the World Series of Poker Main Event begins on November 9th. The Academy will be an instructional camp that will teach poker players many lessons about the game.

This Academy will have six instructors including former FBI Expert Joe Navarro. Mr. Navarro was an FBI agent for twenty five years and has expertise in nonverbal communication. Mr. Navarro will use these skills to teach a class on body language and poker “tells” to those attending.

Mr. Navarro has stated that he believes if a player can understand the “tells” then that can make the difference between losing the poker game and winning. Those who are specialists in the area of nonverbal communication can use their skills to become champions.

“I’ve had many professional players in my classes, and they sit there with an interest you would not normally expect to see,” said Navarro. ”They are pros, so you think they would already know everything they need to know. But they are aware that any small edge to a poker player can be invaluable.”

Learning from Mr. Navarro will most certainly be an exciting time for those who are enrolled in the World Series of Poker Academy. Along with learning from the other instructors, players will be able to gain the knowledge they need to hone their skills and up their game play, hopefully resulting in many big wins.
