PokerStars Adds Julian Thew to Team

PokerStars recently announced the news that they have added a new poker pro to their poker team. Julian Thew is the latest addition to the online poker giant’s sponsored team. The pro is known at PokerStars since he won the European Poker Tour Baden event in season four and he has since finished in many EPT finals.

Thew has also won big tournaments in Vegas as well as became the first person to win two GUKPT main events. Thew is also well known in the UK since he is from Nottingham and he is known as one of the ambassadors of UK poker.

Thew will join Jude Ainsworth, Vicky Coren, John Duthie and JP Kelly as part of the UK & Ireland branch of Team PokerStars. Thew commented on joining the team by stating: “I’m thrilled to have been offered a spot on Team PokerStars Pro and I look forward to promoting the brand on my travels throughout the year.”
