Cake Poker Network to Gain Gunshot Poker
Gunshot Poker will be moving to the Cake Poker Network from the Microgaming Network. The move is scheduled to take place tomorrow after a delay. The Gunshot Poker website has an official announcement on their homepage.
“Due to circumstances of timing and technical nature, Gunshot will not be able to launch on the Cake Network until Wednesday [the] 8th of October… In respect of the Microgaming situation, we are not in a position to make any real comment other than the room is now closed and all player balances have been transferred to Cake,” reads the statement on the website.
The Cake Poker Network includes several websites, included are: Cake Poker, BetUS Poker, King Midas Poker, Players Only Poker, Sportsbook, Pokerbilly, City Poker, Lockpoker and soon to be Gunshot poker. The Cake Poker Network provides players with hand histories that “players can create a web link to any hand on the network and send it to their friends”, states the website.
Gunshot Poker opened in 2001 and is named for a poker term referring to an inside straight draw. The site is still listed on the Microgaming Network which includes 120 partner casino sites and 40 online poker sites. By tomorrow the site should be listed and running on the Cake Poker Network.
