Hendon Mob Ends Exclusive Relationship with Full Tilt Poker

The Hendon Mob website, which hosts the premier database for live tournament poker data in the world, has announced an end to their exclusive relationship with Full Tilt Poker. According to a press release by The Hendon Mob’s management, the main reason for the move is financial.

“The Hendon Mob employs a sizable staff of full and part time people who are dedicated to maintaining and improving the database, the forum and everything else that the poker community expects from our website,” they said in a statement.

“We are currently running at a substantial loss and this is not sustainable in the long term. We have therefore chosen, as well as ceasing to be Full Tilt Pros, to end The Hendon Mob.com’s exclusive relationship with Full Tilt Poker. This frees us for new opportunities, both as a website and as players and we look forward to an exciting future that we hope you will all be a part of.”

The move is not surprising, considering the troubles Full Tilt Poker has gone through in recent months. With service on the site now having been suspended for over two months, there is little financial incentive for partners to continue relationships with the site. FTP does hope to resume service soon, but that likely depends on two factors: the results of a hearing with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission that is scheduled for today, and the ability for Pocket Kings to find investors willing to inject cash into FTP.

TheHendonMob.com poker website hosts forums and provides poker news and articles, but is best known for their database that contains results for virtually every notable live poker tournament around the world, as well as lifetime statistics for any player who has cashed in at least one of these tournaments. The site was originally founded by The Hendon Mob, a group of four poker players from the UK including brothers Ross and Barny Boatman, along with Joe Beevers and Ram Vaswani. The groups was integral in expanding the popularity of hold’em in Europe.
