Team Party Poker Adds New Member
Bodo Sbrzesny of Germany is the latest member of the new Party Poker, Poker team. Bodo has been a player at Party Poker for many years and is a Palladium Elite member on the site. The twenty nine year old earned the Elite status by earning at least 50,000 Party Points in one year.
Bodo is known for appearing on the Party Poker sponsored television show “The Poker Den”. Bodo won his way onto the show in September 2008 through a rake race online. He was able to double his $20,000 buy-in while facing such poker pros as Barney Boatman and Roland de Wolfe.
Bodo did well during the show but his live career pretty much ended there as he has limited experience in live play. he is best known for his high stakes online play and he would be found playing online under screen names “lovetownin79”and “miamivice79”.
Bodo is also an accomplished video game player and credits the video game “Counter Strike” with sharpening his game playing skills before he started playing poker. He commented on the connection between poker and role playing video games in a recent press release stating: “The tactics learned as a Counter Strike video gaming professional helped form the foundation for my poker skills. I learned how to focus my game and improve my skills. The mouse and keyboard handling skills are particularly good for multi-tabling.”
