WSOP Event 50 On ESPN Tonight

If you are a fan of the World Series of Poker but couldn't be there for the action you are probably one of many that have been watching the WSOP on ESPN.  Tonight at 5pm PST ESPN is going to air their coverage of Event No. 50, the $10,000 buyin Pot Limit Ohama WSOP World Championship event.

This event saw a 21 percent increase in attendance from 2007 with a total of 381 players that all registered for the event creating a prize pool of $3,581,400 dollars.  The prize pool for this event is now the largest ever Pot Limit Omaha prize pool in the history of poker.

The winner of last year's event was Robert Mizrachi but he didn't cash at this year's event but his brother, Michael Mizrachi the 2006 Card Player of the Year went on to make the final table.

Those going to the final table this year are; Thang "Kido" Pham with 1,080,000 in chips, Brandon Moran with 1,286,000 in chips, Peter Jetten with 492,000 in chips, Michael Mizrachi with 1,767,000 in chips, Billy Argyros with 729,000 in chips, Greg Hurst with 637,000 in chips, Tom Hanlon with 192,000 in chips, Marty Smith with 1,068,000 in chips and Richard Harroch with 372,000 in chips.
