$750,000 Guaranteed Full Tilt Tournament

That's what gagillionaire did on Full Tilt Referral Poker this past Sunday evening. He beat out 3,806 players to win first place and took home his share of $761,200 prize pool. There were a few big named players involved in the tournament but only managed to make it as high as 115th place. That lucky person was Mike Matusow. Lee Watkinson finished in 308th while Ram Vaswani finished in 118th.

The final table had nine places and the first to go would be Fire80. It began with a three-way all in play between Fire80, Eddits and Jubbley. All three had pairs, Fire80 with A-A, Eddits with 8-8, and Jubbley with Q-Q. The flop goes 3-4-8 and the turn an A. The river was a 2 so Jubbley took the win and Fire80 exited.

The next three down went somewhat quickly until there were only five left. The play continued for quite a while with five players until Mr_BigQueso went all in with 6-4 and gagillionaire called with 3-3. The flop was 5-9-K with a turn of 10 and river Q. So Mr_BigQueso was out in Fifth after a long while in play.

Just a few minutes later and fourth and third place would be filled which left only two-gagillionaire and Jubbley in heads-up play. They were pretty close in chips but gagillionaire would take a lead of almost 2.5 to 1. Jubbley then would decide to go all in so gagillionaire called. Jubbley had K-8 and gagillionaire had A-J. The board came 6-A-J-Q-2 giving gagillionaire two pair to put Jubbley in 2nd place.
