Bet365 Announces The 2008 ECOOP II Championship

With the success of last year's European Championship of Online Poker, it comes as no surprise that Bet365 is doing it again. 

They have just announced the 2008 ECOOP II Championship, the series of tournaments are going to last for 10 consecutive days.  At the end of the championship there will be a $1,500,000 dollar guaranteed event.

The winners are also going to get an exclusive ECOOP II bracelet for each event's winner and a $50,000 MVP Freeroll.

During the championship Bet365 will host 10 tournaments over 10 days and the tournaments that are going to be included are, No Limit Texas Hold'em, Pot Limit, Omaha and Pot Limit Omaha Hi Lo, with a mixture of Freezeout and a rebuy structures.

Players will get points that are based on their finishing positions in the ten events and the top 100 players will qualify for the $50,000 Freeroll and will also get a chance to win the ECOOP 2008 Most Valuable Player.  To get into the championship you can play some of the satellite tournaments with buy ins starting at $2.20.
