Black Belt Poker Live Won by Paul Pham
The first ever Black Belt Poker Live has concluded with all seats selling out to the event at the Vic in London. The tournament cost just $220 to enter and UK fans registered quickly to play alongside poker pros James Akenhead, Neil Channing and Marty Smyth. In the end it was Paul Pham of London who earned the win after besting Karim Louis in heads up play.
Because the event was star studded and had such a low buy-in there was no doubt the event would sell out. The event sold out in advance and was enjoyed by everyone participating. Pham was glad of his accomplishment and commented on his win by stating:
“I play pretty much all of my poker online and am mainly a cash game player. I don’t play live very often and have only played three tournaments so far. I only played this one because the structure was deep and it suited by game.”
