Bloggers can win a WSOP Seat from Bodog Poker

The Bodog poker website will be hosting a Poker Blogger Tournament Series that will award one lucky player a seat to the 2008 World Series of Poker. The winner will be playing in the series as a member of Team Bodog and will win a prize package worth $12,000.

The series begins today and will run until June 3rd. During that time, eighteen qualifying tournaments will take place and the top 30% of finishers in each tournament will earn points. The points awarded will be based on where a player finishes and players will be ranked accordingly. The top eighteen players at the end of the series will move on to the final. June 10th is the date set for the final.

Bodog has weekly tournaments with a $10 plus $1 buy-in and the top five players each week will win enough for the buy-in to the $100,000 Guaranteed Tournament. Also if you are knocked out on the bubble and happen to be in the top five knocked out you will get another chance to play in the next week's tournament at no charge.

The final tournament has no buy-in but only the top eighteen finishers are allowed to participate. The winner from that tournament will win the $12,000 prize package. Second place will receive a buy-in for two World Series or Players Choice Semifinal. Third place receives one buy-in for one event at the World Series of Players Choice Semifinal and also one $100,000 guaranteed Tournament buy-in. Fourth place receives a buy-in to one World Series or Players Choice while Fifth place receives a buy-in for a $100,000 Guaranteed Tournament.
