Bluff Europe Poker Academy Series Moves to Birmingham

The second stop on the Bluff Europe Poker Academy lecture series will take place in Birmingham at the Broadway Casino on May 9th with poker pros teaching novice players the ways of the game of poker. Paul Jackson, Dave Ulliot and Alex Rousso will be lecturing at the Academy.

The event will last only one day but it will be filled with lectures and tournament play. The event will begin with three hours of lectures which will be interactive with attendees and then will be followed by four hours of tournament play. The tournaments will be supervised by a pro player to help in game play.

The lectures will cover fundamental theory, variance and luck, dealing with defeat and management of a bankroll. During the tournament, all three poker pros will captain a team and they will advise players during game play. At the final table, players will be able to compete against Ulliot and Jackson.

“This is a great opportunity for intermediate players to come along and improve their game by learning from some of the best players in the country and, hopefully, have a lot of fun at the same time,” said Rousso.
