Bluff Poker Tour 2008-09 Announced
The 2008-09 Bluff Poker Tour schedule was recently announced by Bluff Magazine. The Magazine will be working in conjunction with Players Investment Company (PICCLUB) on the tour. The Bluff Poker Tour is an online poker tournament series that hops to different poker rooms on the internet. Those included on the stops are: TruePoker, PitBullPoker and Doyle’s Room.
During the series, the Tour will be giving away $10,000. Players can become eligible for the series by creating a PIC account. This will allow the player to deposit and withdraw from any of the poker rooms participating. PIC has proven to be a fast and easy way of online transactions so Bluff Magazine chose them to help with the Tour for that reason.
Players can visit the PICClub website to open an account. Each stop will require a $10 + $1 buy-in and points will be awarded for finishing position and participation. The Bluff Poker Tour will begin on October 30th and continue until May 7th 2009. Each tour stop will take place on Thursday evenings at 9:15 PM EST. Each month will also have one Sunday tournament as a special bonus. This tournament will take place at 8:30 PM EST.
The Tournament of Champions will take place on May 10th and the heads up portion will begin on May 14th. The winner of the heads up battle will gain a seat to the Sports Legend Challenge. “The Bluff Poker Tour is a great opportunity for us to share time at the felt with our readers,” said Eric Morris, publisher of Bluff Magazine. “Our previous incarnations of the BPT had a great response from our readership and we think the 2008-09 BPT will be the best yet.”
