DTD Monthly Deepstack won by Alexander Jobling

Author: Sadonna Price

Last weekend the Dusk Till Dawn Monthly Deepstack Festival finished up with 276 players competing. The deepstack main event was very popular even though other major tournaments were taking place in the area.

The GUKPT Champion of Champions and the London Poker Circuit was also taking place. But players still wanted to compete in the DTD Monthly Deepstack. The tournament never sees a lack of players competing as it is so popular.

In the end it was twenty year old Alexander Jobling who defeated Alex Ives in heads up play to win the first place prize. Jobling outlasted the tough field to take down the top prize of £25,594. To finish up the year at Dusk Till Dawn the £1000 Monte Carlo Deepstack festival will take place on the 18th and the 20th. This event has a guaranteed prize pool of £250,000 and satellites are currently running for players to earn a seat to the event.

Final Results:

1 Alexander Jobling £25,594
2 Alex Ives £14,963
3 Corrado Nane £8,978
4 Mitchell Johnson £6,300
5 Tina Ainsworth £4,725
6 Stuart Langford £3,544
7 Keith Johnson £2,756
8 Ian Bertram £1,969
9 Richard Horton £1,575
