Deep Stack Extravaganza at the Venetian

The world runs on supply and demand, there has to be a demand for the product to get a larger supply.  Well poker players are demanding more Deep Stack Poker so the Venetian is adding to their supply.  The Venetian poker room in Las Vegas has announced that there will be a fourth installment of thier Deep Stack Extravaganza (DSE) in 2008.

The Venetian started their DSE series in 2007 and it took off immediately so much so that other casinos in Las Vegas are now introducing their own versions of the deep stack tournaments.  So since other casinos are now offering a similar product the Venetian has added a fourth installment of DSE to make sure the Venetian remains the favorite among players. 

“We are thrilled with the amount of excitement our Deep Stack Extravaganza series creates on the casino floor and throughout the poker community,” said Kathy Raymond, Venetian’s director of poker operations. “The quality and experience of our staff, along with the high starting chip counts and structure of the tournaments, continues to draw players with different skill levels and from all over the world.”

The latest Deep Stack Extravaganza will start on November 1st and it consists of 25 No Limit Hold'em events with varying buy ins starting at $330 dollars up to $1,060 dollars.  The DSE will wrap up on November 25th with the Championship Event that will have a $2,500 buyin.

The $330 buyin events will start out players with 10,000 in chips, while the $540 and $1,060 buyin events will start out with 12,500 in chips.  The Championship Event will start out with 15,000 in chips and players can buy more chips as long as they buy the optional staff bonus in any of the  events.

If you don't have a couple hundred dollars chilling in your bank account you can participate in satellites at the Venetian to try and win your seat into one of the DSE tournaments.  The satellites will be running every day around the clock during the Deep Stack Extravaganza.
