Full Tilt $1K Monday Tournament Won by Matt Shepsky

The Full Tilt $1K Monday tournament saw a good turnout of 341 players which would give the first place winner just over $85,000. Matt Shepsky was able to pull through being one of the lowest stacks at the final table to take home the first place win.

When final table play began Matt was second to last in chips but he did not let that stop him. He battled his way to a larger chip stack to play kismatwala03197 in heads up play. Matt had knocked out Karl Fenton to make it to heads up play. This of course gave him more chips and the opportunity to take down the first place prize.

On the final hand against kismatwala03197 Matt went all in with A-8 while kismatwala03197 showed pocket tens. The board fell J-6-Q-A-6 and the ace gave Matt the hand and the first place prize.
