Harrah’s casino in New Orleans will be hosting the final Circuit championship of the 2008-09 WSOPC season beginning this Monday. Many players should be turning out to compete in the championship as it is the last one of the season.

On Sunday the 17th the casino will be holding a satellite competition so players can qualify for the $5,000 no limit hold’em championship. The satellites will run at two, six and ten pm with a buy-in of $550. On the 14th through the 16th the casino will be hosting one daily satellite at six pm with a buy-in of $550.

The circuit championship winner will earn the top payout as well as a seat to the 2009 WSOP Main Event. A Circuit championship ring will also be given to the winner. Each player will be given 20,000 in starting chips and blind levels will increase every hour until the final table when they will increase every seventy five minutes.

Schedule for Circuit Championship:

Monday, May 18: Day 1 (play eight levels).
Tuesday, May 19: Day 2 (play down to nine players)
Wednesday, May 20: Final table
