Jacob Chen Wins ECPokerTour Salzburg
The 2009 ECPokerTour Salzburg has ended and one hundred and twenty three players entered the three day tournament in Austria with twenty countries represented by the players. The tournament was held at the Alpine Palace Card Casino which is a five star establishment.
On the final day of tournament play nine players came back to compete at the final table. When it came down to heads up play Jacob Chen of Australia and Andreas Schmidt of Germany were left to duke it out for the first place prize.
Chen was able to hold off Schmidt and take the first place win of €47,302 and Schmidt took home €30,480 for his second place finish. Chen was very happy over his win but only just a few words: “I am breathless.”
