L.A Poker Classic Update

The preliminary events at the L.A. Poker Classic are just about done with only a couple left to play before the main event, the $10,000 buyin World Poker Tour begins on Saturday. 

Recent WPT final table players Jordan Rich and his pal Craig Gray won event 21, a $500 buyin no limit hold'em tag team tournament with rebuys allows.  The prize pool for this event overflowed with 115 rebuys making the pool a generous $99,000.  These two winning players had to best 89 other teams to win first place and take home about $34,000.

Event 22 brought a $2,500 buyin no limit hold'em tournament and well known player online, Cody "thugmoneymkr" Slaubaugh made it his biggest online tournament cash after outlasting 149 other player to take over $101,000 dollars of the $361,000 prize pool.

Poker millionaire Kevin Song took out event 23 that had a $1,500 buyin for this limit hold'em tournament.  He pitted his skills against 93 other players to take home over $46,000 for his first place win.
