NAPT Adds High Roller Tournament

PokerStars recently announced a new event for their North American Poker Tour. The new event is a $25,000 High Roller Bounty Shootout and it will take place on February 23rd. the tournament will see poker pros competing each other to win the top prize as well as take home the bounties which will be placed on each players head.

Each player will have a $5,000 bounty on their head and the top bounty hunter will earn $100,000 from PokerStars. Each player who makes the final table will earn $50,000 and the remaining amount will go to the winner as well as $5,000 bounty per player.

As of right now Daniel Negreanu is the only confirmed player but it should not be long before more pros have confirmed their participation in the event. Jeffrey Haas the head of global events at PokerStars commented:

“We want to try new things, different formats, and unique events that make our players happy. This is sure to be a hit with both our players and the people who watch on television.”
