PartyPoker Announces New Tournament Series

PartyPoker recently announced a new tournament series called the Online Cash Game Championships or otherwise known as the OCGC. The series will take place next month and will have up to $250,000 in total prize money up for grabs.

The competition will be divided into seven levels and players will have to participate in a minimum of 400 hands a day to be eligible. The players who are the most profitable will make the final table which is scheduled for April 2nd.

Cash prizes will be added as player’s progress through the levels and the stakes will increase as the competition increases as well. “Anyone can claim the OCGC crown,” read a statement from PartyPoker. “You don't have to be a regular at the high-stakes tables. It's a long, hard road to victory with $250,000 waiting to be won, the tables are sure to be packed this March. But, when the dust has settled, only the most skilful cash players will take the plaudits.”
