Paul Wasicka Wins Tunica Event
The World Series of Poker Circuit recently stopped in Tunica, Mississippi for an event. Several poker pros came out to compete but it was Paul Wasicka who earned the first place finish. Wasicka had to hold on to his chip lead to earn the top spot at the tournament.
Wasicka would face tough competition at the final table. Those seated next to him were Carter Philips, Dwyte Pilgrim and Matt Stout. The field of competitors would be hard to overcome but Wasicka’s chip lead would help him in the end.
Wasicka won a nice prize of just over $139,000 and a buy-in for the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event. Wasicka gave credit for his win to his mindset coach Sam Chauhan. He commented: “I want to give Sam credit; he’s done wonders for my game both on and off the felt.”
