PokerStars Hosting Special Charity Tournament Tonight
PokerStars is known for their amazing land tournaments which take place all over the world. The online poker room is getting ready to kick off their North American Poker Tour and the first event is scheduled for tonight.
The first event of the tour will take place at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada and the event will be a charity poker tournament to benefit Three Square. This organization helps people living in Las Vegas Valley who are hungry. The group provides meals to nonprofit organizations to feed families in need.
Several celebrities are set to attend as well as poker pros. The buy-in for the event is $500 and all proceeds from the tournament will go to charity. A few recognizable names to be at the event are: Joe Cada, Joanna Krupa, Vanessa Rousso, Daniel Negreanu and Christian Slater.
