PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up Results

The first Sunday Warm-Up for the month of May took place last week at PokerStars online poker room and it was online player sirpietah who walked away with the win. Four thousand one hundred and seventy five players competed in the tournament which had a buy-in of $215. The prize pool was a guaranteed $750,000 but so many players signed up that it created a prize pool of $835,200.

When final table play began online player Delaney_kid was in the chip lead and it would be UNoWho11 who would go home first earning $6,681. Next to go would be Daradan0s who earned just over $10,000 for eighth place while ralsLe finished in seventh for $18,793.

The next few to go would be plasticard, Delaney_kid, I_DESTROY_U and ibh26. That would leave davdav23 and sirpietah to duke it out in heads up play. The two cut a deal which left $10,000 for the winner of the tournament. On the final hand davdav23 held J-A while sirpietah had pocket sixes. Sirpietah got a six on the turn and took the first place prize of $121,692 while davdav23 took home $106,634 for second place.
