PokerStars Turbo Takedown Tournament

Poker players will be excited to know that a new online tournament will soon begin at the PokerStars website that will have large payouts and see many players finishing in the money. For PokerStars members the new tournament will pretty much be a freeroll as the buy-in for the tournament can be paid for in Frequent Player Points.

This Sunday, PokerStars will begin a new tournament called Turbo Takedown. This tournament will feature a $2 million guaranteed prize pool and one in three players will be paid. No Limit Hold'em is the name of the game and first place will take home a $200,000 prize. The event will begin at 14:30 ET on the 17th at the PokerStars website.

Players can use their Frequent Player Points to pay their way into the tournament or participate in satellites to gain entry. 10,000 Player Points are required as the buy-in for the tournament if you choose to use them. If not you can play in satellites which require buy-ins from as low as 10 Frequent Player Points and up.

New players can start now by signing up and earning points this week. Those points can be used to gain entry into the satellites. The last place paid in this tournament is 4000th so players have a very good chance of finishing in the money.
