Many Oklahomans are happy about the coming Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge IV, to be starting on November 1. Not only is it one of the biggest tournament events around but it will be featuring one of the premier stars of poker as well.

"The Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge is one of three large tournaments that we run each year," stated Chris Province, promotions manager at the Cherokee Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the Challenge will take place.

"We have the Oklahoma State Poker Championships and the Cherokee Poker Classic, but the Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge has been extremely popular since its inception a couple of years ago."

Well known Jimmy Sommerfeld, as one of the best TD's in the poker community, will be the tournament director this year, and you can expect to see some of the best known players in the Midwestern United States featured in this years tournament schedule.

Prize pools are expected to exceed $2 million, so don't miss out on the fun to be had and your chance to win. Around 5,500 players are expected to turn out for this years tournament at the Cherokee Casino.
