He was the last man at the final table after playing more then 11 hours of poker that includes a four and a half hour session with Soren Johnson of Denmark who took home second place. Vance won the final hand at 1:40 am on Sunday with an Ace Spade flush that ended the tournament.
Vance used a line that he has said before with other players that he has eliminated, "It's been nice playing with you, sir. I call," he said, turning over his winning hand.
Vance won his entry into the tournament and trip at PokerStars.com by playing in a frequent players tournament. His win here has also qualified him to play in the European Poker Tour Final in April in Monte Carlo.
