Trump Taj Mahal Poker Parlor Hosts Charity Event

The Trump TAJ Mahal Poker Parlor is one of the largest poker rooms in Atlantic City and why wouldn't it be with the name and man, synonymous with success, behind it. Wednesday, October 24th through October 26th, 2007, The Trump TAJ Mahal will be hosting a charity event to benefit Project Lifesaver International in the 1st Annual Project Lifesaver Poker Tournament. The Foundation provides lifesaving services to families who cannot afford them and they help promote community awareness of the need for Project Lifesaver among the elderly and afflicted youth.

The event will have executives playing in a series of poker tournaments. All games will be No-Limit Texas Hold'em with a $500 buy-in on the 24th, a $1,000 buy-in on the 25th and a $2,500 buy-in on the 26th for the main event. The cash tournaments with cash payouts will have 100% of the buy-ins for each event making up the prize pool and a portion of the entry fees will be donated to the charity.

The televised event will begin with a special $100,000 buy-in cash game which will also extend to Thursday, October 25th. It is anticipated that both nights combined will bring in a total of $2 Million plus.
